Our Story
Rehla was born from the shared story of two friends: Mohamed, a dedicated nurse, and Salah, a supply chain manager at General Motors. Both know firsthand the grind of 12-hour shifts and the weight of back-to-back responsibilities. Whether it’s an early morning in the ICU or a late night on the manufacturing floor, coffee isn’t just a drink, it’s a lifeline.
Healthcare heroes and automotive workers have something in common: they show up, day in and day out. They deserve a space that shows up for them. Rehla is that space; a place to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with others and with yourself.

At Rehla Coffee House, we believe every journey deserves a powerful beginning. In metro Detroit, where long shifts and hard work define our daily rhythm, that beginning often starts with a great cup of coffee.
